In a pond, parameters can change rapidly due to external conditions that you have no control over. On a sunny day, an algal bloom can occur because algae grow quickly with more light exposure. But also, for example, an excessive amount of nutrients can lead to an algal bloom. It can be very difficult to prevent an algal bloom with just a filter. A UV-C device eliminates algae by combating them with UV-C light. This way, an algal bloom has no chance, and your pond remains clear even on sunny days.

Easily connectable outside your pond

You can easily connect the BluClear UV-C device between your pond pump and filter. The device includes a hose connector for the water inlet and a hose connector for the water outlet. Thanks to a 5-meter long power cable, it can be easily placed at the right distance.

The BluClear should be set up dry. This means it must be placed outside your pond. The BluClear is resistant to weather and wind from outside.

The UV-C devices from BluGarda are built to last. They have a stainless steel housing that is sturdy and robust. Additionally, the stainless steel housing on the inside helps to reflect UV light. This ensures improved performance and effectiveness in combating algae and microorganisms. Sure of the operation of the UV-C lamp thanks to viewing window

The UV-C device features a viewing hole that allows you to safely check the operation of the device. When the device is functioning correctly, a blue light will be visible through the viewing hole. A UV-C lamp in a UV-C device lasts approximately 8,000 burning hours. We recommend replacing the UV-C lamp with a new one after these burning hours and at least every season to ensure it continues to work properly.

Increased effectiveness due to reflective stainless steel housing

The BluClear UV-C devices feature a stainless steel (SS) housing. This ensures that the UV-C light from the lamp is reflected on the inside. As a result, the light travels further and can destroy more algae and microorganisms. The effectiveness of the device is thus enhanced.
